BIOGRAPHIE
À la suite de son stage post-doctoral, Yvan Boutin a été directeur de la recherche pour une petite PME en biotechnologie de la région de Québec pendant plus d’un an.
Il a par la suite débuté sa carrière de professeur au Cégep de Lévis au Département de biologie et biotechnologie. Il a été l’un des tout premiers professeurs-chercheurs de TransBIOTech. Depuis, il n’a cessé d’effectuer des projets de recherche appliquée afin d’appuyer l’innovation au sein des entreprises des sciences de la vie.
Il est également membre chercheur régulier de l’Institut en Nutrition et Aliments Fonctionnels de l’Université Laval.
FORMATIONS
Détenteur d’un baccalauréat en biologie (microbiologie) de l’Université de Sherbrooke, d’une maîtrise et d’un doctorat de l’Université Laval en microbiologie - immunologie, il a choisi de parfaire ses connaissances et son expertise en recherche à l’Université Yale (Connecticut) où il a réalisé son stage postdoctoral en immunobiologie.
